“Material innovations creates possibilities for the creative minds”
After 14 months of re-definig of the formula, C37 presented their new material magmga 04® at a MIND fair in guadalajara.
MIND Mexico is a platform based in Guadalajara, MX through which design enthusiasts and visionary minds materialize ideas, improve processes and develop products or services.
This Material Fair brings together companies involved in material innovative proposals and people from different industries such as construction, fashion, interior design, among others that are always looking for new and creative options to materialize their projects.
MAGMA 04®; A semi-liquid formula that mimics the emblematic Basalt stone in appearance, color and texture, providing possibilities of production for the industry.
A series of pieces where exhibited to show the properties of the material. Organic forms showed the liquid property. Sheets with a gradient of color showed the color possibilities. A comparison of two shape-same pieces made with MAGMA 04® and natural stone showed the lightness of the material.
Presenting the possibilities led to the validation of the material in the industry, by getting input on the applications and possibilities each industry was interested in.
Gaining projects and possible partnerships and collaborations is the value of exhibiting in expos like MIND.
MAGMA 04® was exhibited for the first time in MIND Mexico 2016 along with other innovative materials.
