We invite invite you to Design Week Mexico this october!
Duco Lab is showcasing a collection called Menguante made with MAGMA® at Inédito during Design Week Mexico 2018, world design capital of the year.
Menguante is a collection designed by Duco Lab, inspired by the ambient light generated during the Menguante lunar phase. The pieces are composed of blown glass, mechanisms machined in metal and application of the new advanced material MAGMA® in color Cantera, an advanced material developed by C37 Studio.
Duco lab is a multidisciplinary design laboratory dedicated to solving and materializing creative projects. They integrates design, engineering, technology and manufacturing with Mexican manufacturing, and are among the best in the use of different materials and processes.
Inédito is an Initiative that exhibits and rewards the utilitarian design through the exhibition of unpublished pieces by Mexican creators at the Museo Tamayo. The prize is awarded to the most outstanding project in the categories of social impact, function, aesthetics, concept, user experience, materials and processes, with the aim of promoting the production of
the winning piece
